OPEN YEAR ROUND!
 Located on a crystal clear lake
this Regional Park offers lakefront and wooded camping for tents and RV's. An excellent Base Camp
where you can relax on the beach or fill your days with
adventures paddling the lake, hiking on the trails and exploring
caves or rock climbing at nearby parks.
The Horne
Lake Outdoor Center is an award-winning outdoor education
facility operating within the park that offers school and
group activities, Youth Summer Camps, fabulous family retreats
and teepee camping. In keeping with the rustic them of this beautiful
campground, there are no hook-ups or showers onsite; please
come prepared.

Reminder: no
running water or power / sewer hookups onsite. This is a
nature-oriented family campground. Park regulations prohibit
hunting, unlicensed
ATV's, dirt bikes or PWC jet-skis.

Daily Visitor
Programs - Summer 2012
Come out and enjoy some fascinating and fun programs
running every day during Summer. Naturalist guides conduct
a range of family activities from guided canoe paddles to basic rock
rappelling and cave exploring.
Fun and educational, these programs are excellent for children
age 6 and up. Meet at
the Campground Office, located at the Regional Park main
entrance. Please call ahead or reserve

Summer Programs and Schedule

Rappelling Session- 9am to 11am
Cost: $34 children 6 to 11 / $40 adults

Easy beginner introductions to rock rappelling. Get experience
on natural rock with this 2 hour session that teaches basic skills
in vertical rappels. Excellent beginner training
for the "Extreme Rappel Cave Tour" or those wanting
to expand their skills from indoor climbing gyms. Price includes
one-on-one instruction and all climbing equipment.
