year, we will be offering 2 workshops:
1) Companion Cave Rescue
Workshop May 23 - 25, 2008
2) Cave
Rescue Response Workshop May 25 –27, 2008
These weekend workshops will involve hands-on practice
with:
- basic SRT rope skills (ascending / descending)
- equipment & safety considerations
- raising & lowering systems
- team approach to cave rescue
- stretcher handling
- mock cave rescue scenario
Vertical rescue in challenging terrain !
COST: 1 workshop - $50, both workshops - $85 per person.
Previous BCCR registrants receive a 50% discount but no
handout materials. Camping - add'l $2 - $5 / nt.
