Horne
Lake Main Cave and Lower Cave offer adventurous visitors a chance to explore
rugged and wild caves
without a guide. Exploring this cave will involve some
moderate climbing and narrow passages, so be prepared. Helmets are
highly recommended
and you must have at least two sources of light (unless you
like getting stranded in ultimate blackness while waiting for
a rescue!). ENTER AT YOUR OWN
RISK! The caves at Horne Lake have many unmarked hazards and require
caution while travelling. Be cautious - know your limit and stay
within it! For those new to caving, a more enjoyable and
educational caving experience might be a guided
tour of Riverbend Cave. Helmet /
